Excellent talk between two MDs who speak plain English and who both have a massive clue.
Well worth your time to listen to.
Not really sure how to link this in an easily playable form, so you’ll have to click the link below and do it from there.
OK, spoiler – nobody knows. But this brings up a fascinating question – what if people (like myself) who eat mostly meat are actually eating at an energy deficit?
The relevant part is right at the end of the podcast (I’ve started the YT clip just before the relevant area, although it’s all worth a listen).
Yes, I know at an overall level this is what we want to do in order to utilise our fat stores, but if it’s WAY too low you get all sorts of problems as your body fights back in order to stay alive.
Given the podcast is with Amber, it’s really good value, although it gets (as this podcast does through a lack of self-discipline/experience from Paul) WAY into the weeds at points, but get through that, it’s still good info.
This was very interesting. Gets a fair bit into the weeds, but well worth a listen. Discusses a variety of topics, including treating cancer with a sensible diet (not a Steve Jobs-type woo-woo diet).
